I'm so excited to be working with you and be the one to capture the beginning of a new journey! I know photography is one of the larger investments you’re making for your elopement day and I'm so honored you chose to work with Julia Stockton Photography!
Even if you’re working with a planner or you’re planning everything on your own, there are likely still a lot of moving pieces left leading up to your special day. That's why I made you this guide with the best tips and vendors in town. We'll cover everything from lighting to locations and so much more!
CAN WE DO A FIRST LOOK?
OF COURSE! Your day, your rules! Many couples opt to get ready together when they elope but I highly suggest considering doing a first look for a heartfelt and emotional moment. If this is something you'd like to do, let me know and we'll arrange everything!
Time & Light
What's the best TIME TO Elope?
I love shooting about 2 hours before sunset, that way the sun is lower in the sky and we avoid harsh shadows and bright sun patches. The first two hours after sunrise is also an ideal time to shoot if you choose to elope early in the morning.

It's no secret Las Vegas has many location options to elope! From the desert to the city, the options are truly endless. The locations below are my favorites but I also love exploring meaningful locations with my couples!

Posing
"What do I do with my hands?"
When it comes to posing, you don’t need to worry about a thing! I’ll guide you through the entire process beginning with “poses” that are super easy and natural. If I tell you to do something that feels a little funny, it’s probably because I know it’s going to make the two of you laugh - and that’s the photo I'm actually looking for.
I want you to feel as relaxed as possible and enjoy your time together!
