Lisa and Joseph's engagement session was initially planned in Las Vegas where their wedding will take place, however, the desert weather had other plans for us. When we got to the location we were faced with the most intense wind/sand storm I've ever experienced in my life. As we sheltered in the car and chatted to find a different date they would be back in town, I remembered I'd be in their hometown the next month. They were open to making it work and we had a plan: San Francisco City Hall!

I've always wanted to shoot at the SF City Hall for its stunning architecture and creamy gorgeous lighting. I was not disappointed! I absolutely loved photographing there. We got there in the morning and that seemed to be the best time for lighting and avoiding large crowds.

I'm so grateful to my sweet clients for being open to shooting in their hometown and helping me check another city off my photo bucket list!
